Go here.
It's absolutely hilarious that Nate's got stuck in Pig-Latin...
(Go to language tools and scroll down...change your google to all sorts of languages...like H4xor (see link above) and "Bork, bork, bork!" (?))

Midterms? MIDTERMS???
Midterms are like christmas in january. Except when you open you presents, there are 300 question exams in them. There is nothing funny about midterms. Unless by chance, they light on fire. Or the teacher (if he/she is the object of all your hatred) sponaneously combusts. Or if someone randomly runs screaming into the room with their pants on fire. Yeah! NOW we're cooking with gasoline!

Wherefore doth "wherefore" not mean "where"?
RARsong: Wherefore art thou?
ScrambldmEggs: Clifton, my dear Juliet
ScrambldmEggs: wait, no
ScrambldmEggs: wherefore means "why"
ScrambldmEggs: I am, therefore I am
RARsong: It does?
ScrambldmEggs: yeah
RARsong: Oops
ScrambldmEggs: It's not "Where are you, Romeo?"
RARsong: Ubifore art thou, then.
RARsong: Are you sure?
RARsong: That would make a lot more sense then "why are you romeo?"
ScrambldmEggs: It's more "Why are you Romeo?" (because that means you are a Montegue)
RARsong: No, it means his mother named him Romeo.
ScrambldmEggs: haha
RARsong: It means somewhere along the lines, his mother heard the name and said "Ooh, Romeo! That sounds like the name of a star-crossed lover!"
ScrambldmEggs: hahahah!
RARsong: Juliet doesn't say "Wherefore art thou Montague?" Ergo wherefore can't mean why, but where.
RARsong: QED
ScrambldmEggs: http://miriamwebster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=wherefore
RARsong: Bah. What does Miriam Webster know about Shakespearin language?
ScrambldmEggs: er.... a lot.
ScrambldmEggs: I win. :-P
RARsong: SHHH
RARsong: Not yet
ScrambldmEggs: Oh?
RARsong: It COULD mean therefore
ScrambldmEggs: No, because it's a question
RARsong: Excatly!
ScrambldmEggs: ...
RARsong: "Therefore, are you Romeo?"
RARsong: She might have thought she spotted him in the trees Yonder
RARsong: But decided it was just a shadow
ScrambldmEggs: No, that would be "Wherefore, thou art Romeo?
ScrambldmEggs: But she says "Wherefore art thou, Romeo?"
ScrambldmEggs: Which is completely different
RARsong: Perhaps she misplaced the comma.
RARsong: "Therefore, you are Romeo?"
RARsong: Like she was addressing said shadow
ScrambldmEggs: She? Willa Shakespeare?
RARsong: No, Juliet!
ScrambldmEggs: hehe
ScrambldmEggs: It makes no sense your way. "Romeo, Romeo... therefore you are Romeo? Defy thy father and refuse thy name...."
RARsong: Deny!
RARsong: She was confused
ScrambldmEggs: The "why" question about his name being Romeo leads into the whole "rose by any other name" schpiel
RARsong: The "therefore, you are Romeo?" is like a side thought, checking to make sure the shadow isn't him.
RARsong: And then when she realizes it isn't him, she goes into her "Deny your daddy" thing, because that's what she was thinking about before.
ScrambldmEggs: She doesn't know he's there yet
RARsong: She was just making sure.
ScrambldmEggs: she's not talking to him
RARsong: I know
RARsong: Sure she is
RARsong: She's using "thy"
RARsong: She just doesn't know he can hear her.
ScrambldmEggs: In which case, the "why" meaning still works just as well
ScrambldmEggs: better, in fact
RARsong: But that question makes no SENSE!
RARsong: "Why are you Romeo?" "How the fuck should I know? Why are you Juliet? Why is the sky blue?"
ScrambldmEggs: It's rhetorical!
RARsong: But if she meant the whole family thing, she would have said Montague!
RARsong: Same number of syllables
ScrambldmEggs: Not so much Montegue as... Why are you who you are, that we can't be together?
ScrambldmEggs: And she'd have to say "A Montegue"
ScrambldmEggs: which has an extra syllable
RARsong: Why not "a Romeo' then?
RARsong: And why is she questioning why he is who he is? She's supposed to love him already.
ScrambldmEggs: because he IS Romeo, who is A Montague
ScrambldmEggs: and you're saying you never question what has happened?
RARsong: "Montague, Montage, wherefore art thou, montague?"
RARsong: Works just as well.
ScrambldmEggs: SO unromantic
ScrambldmEggs: jeez
ScrambldmEggs: Montague was Romeo's father
ScrambldmEggs: that's just sick
RARsong: Ok, fine, then, Montague the 2nd.
ScrambldmEggs: haha
RARsong: Why can't it just mean where?
ScrambldmEggs: Because it doesn't!
ScrambldmEggs: Wherefore it cannot mean where, you mean
RARsong: It should be able to! I've been mishearing that ALL MY LIFE!
ScrambldmEggs: bwahaha
ScrambldmEggs: Me too, until last year
RARsong: NO!
RARsong: I refuse to accept it.
RARsong: Wherefore cannot equal ergo
ScrambldmEggs: I would prove it with the OED, but it's only by subscription
ScrambldmEggs: rats
ScrambldmEggs: Mirriam Webster will have to stand
RARsong: I bet it's lying.
RARsong: Stuff lies on the internet a lot.
ScrambldmEggs: Ok Rachel. If it makes you feel better, wherefore can mean whatever you want it to. Wherefore can mean "banana" for all I care
ScrambldmEggs: But you'd be wrong.
RARsong: But wherefore DOESN'tT mean banana...
ScrambldmEggs: Nor does it mean "where"

On going dress shopping:
Rachel: Please?
John: No.
Rachel: Please?
John: No.
Rachel: Please?
John: No.
Rachel: I'll pay you.
Ben: Pay? I'll go if you pay me...
John: No.

Rachel: Please?
John: No. I AM NOT GOING DRESS SHOPPING!

Rachel: Please?
John: No.
Rachel: Please?
John: No.
Ben: John, what if you go to the knife store while they go dress shopping?
John: Well... ok. If I never have to set foot in the dress store, it won't go against my morals.
Rachel: ...
Ben: Rachel, you'd better take it.

ScrambldmEggs: mmm chem lab
ScrambldmEggs: Why would a geologist be interested in the percentage of carbonates in certain rocks or minerals?
RARsong: Because carbon, with enough compression and time, can yeild a diamond. and diamonds make money and impress girlfriends.
RARsong: and its all about sex, you know?
Sandra: "Oh my god, my parents are going to kill me. I'm such a rebel!"
Ben: "Sandra, you must be the world's worst rebel."
